Intersectional meeting of Croatian and Slovenian intensivists

Dear colleagues,

It is my great honor and pleasure to invite you to the 17th International Congress of Intensive Care Medicine, which will be held in Umag at the Hotel Pelegrin, October 1st – 3rd, 2026., and will be organized by the Croatian Society of Intensive Care Medicine of the Croatian Medical Association.
The Croatian Society of Intensive Care Medicine has been maintaining the continuity of professional and scientific education for many years, always striving to bring new knowledge to its members, whose implementation has consistently contributed to the advancement of intensive care medicine.

We are pleased to present a comprehensive program covering key advances in intensive care medicine, including: hemodynamic monitoring, sepsis and blood purification, ICU infections, fluid management, coagulopathies, analgesia and sedation updates, as well as new strategies and challenges in intensive care medicine.
The Congress will feature invited lectures from leading national and international experts, alongside a dedicated session for short oral presentations.

The official languages are Croatian and English. The event will be accredited by the Croatian Medical Chamber.

A joint meeting of Croatian and Slovenian intensivists will be held as part of the congress program.
