Dear colleagues,<\/span><\/p>

It is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to the 16th International Congress of Intensive Care Medicine, which will be held in Zagreb at the Sheraton Hotel from March 14th to 15th, 2025, organized by the Croatian Society of Intensive Care Medicine of the Croatian Medical Association.<\/span><\/p>

The Croatian Society of Intensive Care Medicine has been maintaining the continuity of professional and scientific education for many years, always striving to bring new knowledge to its members, whose implementation has consistently contributed to the advancement of intensive care medicine.<\/span><\/p>

The main topics of the congress are:<\/span><\/p>

  1. Artificial Intelligence in Intensive Care Medicine<\/strong><\/span><\/li>
  2. End of Life Care in Intensive Care Units<\/strong><\/span><\/li>
  3. State-of-the-art Mechanical Ventilation<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ol>

    Besides these main topics, we will strive to cover a wide range of important areas in intensive care medicine: updates in hemodynamic monitoring, sepsis and blood purification, infections in intensive care units, fluid replacement, coagulopathies, updates in analgesia and sedation and new strategies and opportunities in intensive care units.<\/span><\/p>

    In addition to invited lectures by top domestic and international experts, the Congress will also feature a special section for short oral presentations.<\/span><\/p>

    The deadline for submitting topics for oral presentations is February 1st, 2025, to the email: smilanovic@kbd.hr\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    The official languages of the Congress are Croatian and English. The event will be accredited according to the regulations of the Croatian Medical Chamber.<\/span><\/p>

    Participation in the congress is free of charge for residents<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>
